Public Record Request

If you are looking to obtain a copy of an incident report, incident photos, DMV crash report, criminal/traffic citations, 911 reports or audio recordings of a 911 call, The Hood River Sheriff's Office can assist. Obtaining a Record

Here are the steps you must take to request a copy of a record: 

  1. Print and fill out the The Hood River County Copy of Records Application.
  2. Enclose a check, cash or money order payable to Hood River County for the applicable record fee.
  3. Return the completed form and money to: Hood River County Sheriff's Office, ATTN: Records, 309 State Street, Hood River, OR 97031

Record fees:

  • Incident Report ($25 per report)
  • Incident Photos ($5.25 each or $30 for a CD with up to 20 photos)
  • DMV Crash Report ($15 per report)
  • Criminal/Traffic Citation ($15 per citation)
  • 911 Call for Service (CAD) Report ($15 per report)
  • 911 Audio Recording ($50 per hour/1 hour minimum)

*If an Incident Report requires research other than locating the report, there is a $25 per hour (1 hour minimum charge).*

Please be aware that some information may be redacted from the report to comply with privacy laws.

Requests should be responded to without unreasonable delay in accordance with Oregon Law (192.329).
