File a Police Report

When submitting an online citizen police report, you are sending information about a crime directly to the Hood River County Sheriff's Office. If this is an emergency call 911 immediately.

Conditions that Must be Met to File a Report Online
  1. This is not an emergency.
  2. The suspect(s) is no longer at the scene and is not identified.
  3. No obvious evidence exists to readily identify the suspects(s).
  4. No obvious investigative leads exist.
  5. The crime occured within the area that the Hood River County Sheriff's Office Patrols.

AND

The crime being reported corresponds with one of the following crime categories:

  1. Lost or Mislaid Property
  2. Thefts where the total loss is less than $1,000
  3. Hit and Run - Property
  4. Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle
  5. Vandalism where damages do not exceed $1000
  6. Mail Theft
  7. Fraud

If you answered yes to the above questions and the crime falls within one of the listed categories, you are ready to file a report.
