Hood River County declared a fire emergency for the Eagle Creek Fire in September 2017. As a result, local businesses may be eligible for low-interest long term Small Business Administration (SBA) loans to help them recover from economic impacts of lost revenue. Current rates are high 2% - low 3%, with terms up to 30 years.
If you are interested in applying, please email County Emergency Manager Barbara Ayers. We need five to ten Hood River County businesses to fill out the attached SBA worksheet, and we must meet the state’s minimum requirements for the Governor to request this SBA program be activated. If you are interested, please let us know no later than October 12.
